The Uros, which are man-made floating islands, are nothing new to Peru. Established during the times of the Incas, it was meant as a hideout place. Today is still pretty much exists, and is very much alive in its traditions. The Islanders still find this lifestyle harmonizing and peaceful to this day, and are happy to share their traditions with all visitors.
